I love Science and Statistics.

I have always loved science and research and stats. When I was 21 I moved to Brighton to study a Degree in Applied Psychology with a view to becoming a Clinical Psychologist.

When I decided to become a Hypnotherapist instead I felt a real stigma that somehow it was a disappointing choice that I was moving into pseudo science and quackery.

I have always felt the need to fiercely defend my profession and educate others on its long and valued use within the medical sphere.

One of the reasons I was drawn to the use of Hypnotherapy for IBS was that love of science and research and stats.

There is a mountain of clear clinical research that shows time and time again the efficacy of hypnosis as a treatment for IBS. This is exciting stuff and I am on a mission to spread the word. Hold on while I grab my megaphone!

After working with clients for many years and seeing first hand the transformations they achieved. I felt frustrated that Hypnotherapy for IBS was not more easily accessible.

Driven by the desire to get the help where it’s most needed. This birthed the plan to create an effective online supported programme making specialist treatment more widely available.

I LOVE being a part of my client’s transformations. If you suffer with IBS and I guess you do if you’re reading this post these are some of the wins I have celebrated with my clients.

Becoming pain free after many years of chronic pain and bowel surgery.

Being able to enjoy walking the children to school without taking immodium or feeling worried.

Booking a holiday abroad after many years of staying home.

Going for a promotion at work because they no longer worried about interviews and meetings.

Being able to eat a wider range of foods and eat out without worrying about a flare up.

I would love to hear what success would look like for you.
